Fairytale Surprise Proposal in the WILD

On this day I asked my best friend to commit to me even further. 💍

This evening was full of laughing, ugly crying, sweaty bodies, adorable muddy sheep peeing, and boots bopping around in mud piles under these glowy lanterns.

We started with a blindfolded drive in a taxi through the city of Chiang Mai, to then walking her out to the middle of a little muddy field, to opening her eyes to see what a whole team here in Thailand and I were able to cultivate for her.

Horses, which was important to me to have it here at a horse farm, because when we first met she told me she always wanted a horse as a little kid and wishes she could spend more time with them, and to what I remember her telling me, she has only been able to ride them/be around them once.

And the second surprise I had for her, was where I watched her laugh so hard when a herd of sheep started to surround us in the middle of the field, covered in mud, peeing and pooping everywhere lol, but they still managed to be soooo cute despite the chaos. It’s funny, because she recently got that new white skirt, and she she loved it so so much… and before this moment she was trying to keep sooo clean, but that quickly flew out the window when she was able to hold the sheep and snuggle them. 🐑🐑

All this was beautiful, but when we asked to have the last 45 minutes alone under the lanterns, that's when I read her a letter

The very last part of my letter stands still in my heart forever:

“Because of you, I laugh and smile with the most authenticity. I am able to rest calmly into myself, I have became more present and in love with myself, since being with you. There is such a sense of peace and stillness I have in my heart about this decision. With that being said, I wanted to ask you to commit to me even further, to chest bump, dab up, cuddle and eat sushi, watch anime, to cry together, to laugh together, to build our home and raise babies together, and more importantly at this very moment …. to be my wife”
